Every year Europes most colourful event takes place in Seeboden (Austria). The so-called „World Bodypainting Festival“ is a melting pot of body artists from all over the world who meet in the South of Austria surrounded by mountains and lakes. This event nowadays gathers approx. 20'000 visitors and 2'000 photographers.
In order to make you a little more familiar with the world of body-art this year for the sixth time „swiss bodypainting day“ takes place in Lucerne.
The „Art Award of Bodypainting“ as a challenge trophy will be this year’s main attraction.
20 of the worlds leading bodypainters will perform their art in front of your eyes to the topic "Transit". This topic will lead the artists to show all their abilities and techniques in colouring bodies – some with show-effects even. The event also gives the exclusive opportunity for fotographers to take pictures of the coloured models in a wonderful surrounding.
The bodypainters – amongst them four actual world champions – are given a maximum of six hours. Afterwards their bodies of art will be presented to a prominent jury and the spectators.
The day will also be enriched by performances, shows, music and videos.
